Guidelines for Brands and Designers to Leave Merchandise on Consignment at Ximma Collective Showroom

Welcome to Ximma Collective! We are excited to collaborate with talented brands and designers to showcase your unique merchandise. Below are the definitive guidelines you must follow for consigning your products in our showroom.
 

Consignment Agreement Overview
  1. Consignment Arrangement:

    • Brands and designers will provide merchandise on a consignment basis. Ximma Collective will display and sell the items, retaining a commission of 40% from the final retail price. The specific terms will be fully detailed in the formal Consignment Agreement.

  2. Wholesale Pricing:

    • Please submit your wholesale prices for each item. Ximma Collective will review and set the final retail price. We generally aim to set the retail price at 2.5 times the wholesale price, but this may be adjusted based on market trends and our pricing strategy.

  3. Minimum Quantity:

    • To ensure a strong selection, you must provide a minimum of 4 pieces per item. This quantity allows for variety and ensures customers can find their sizes.

  4. Size Requirements:

    • For clothing items, please offer a range of sizes: S, M, L, and XL. A broad size inclusion helps cater to diverse customer preferences. Non-apparel items must meet the minimum quantity requirement of 4 pieces.

Submission Process

 

  1. Initial Inquiry:

    • Reach out to us via email at info@ximmaboutique.com or through our website's contact form to express your interest in consigning your merchandise.

  2. Product Submission:

    • After your initial inquiry, you will receive a consignment form to complete. This will include details about your brand, product descriptions, wholesale prices, and the quantity/sizes of items being submitted.

  3. Product Review:

    • Once we receive your submission, our team will review your merchandise for quality and suitability. We aim to complete this review within 7 business days of receiving your submission and may reach out for further details or samples if necessary.

Delivery and Display

 

  1. Scheduling Delivery:

    • Upon approval, we will schedule a delivery date for you to bring in your merchandise. Please confirm the date and time with us beforehand.

  2. Packaging and Presentation:

    • Items should be clean and well-presented. Ensure all merchandise is labeled with size tags and care instructions.

  3. Inventory Management:

    • An inventory sheet must accompany your delivered items, detailing each product's description, size, quantity, and wholesale price.

Sales and Payments

 

  1. Sales Tracking:

    • Ximma Collective will maintain a detailed record of all sales.

  2. Payment Terms:

    • Payments for sold items will be issued weekly, accompanied by a detailed statement of sales for that period. A comprehensive monthly report will also be provided detailing full inventory status, sales activity, and any items returned unsold.

Return Policy

 

  1. Unsold Merchandise:

    • Items that do not sell within 6 months will trigger a discussion with the designer to either (a) return the merchandise or (b) agree to a markdown for a final sales push.

  2. Condition Upon Return:

    • Returned items must be in sellable condition. Damages not attributed to normal wear and tear will be charged back to the designer. We will notify the designer within 7 days of identifying damage and provide photographic evidence for review.
